Making a keynote slide your background

Does anyone know how to make Keynote slides your background? I have an awesome slide and would love to be able to use it.

It is just a matter of exporting the slide as an image, and then using that image as your desktop. Use the File, Export option in Keynote. Select Images and then choose to only export that one slide. Then use System Preferences, Desktop & Screensaver to set your desktop to an image. You can drag and drop the image file from the finder into the system preferences, Desktop -- drag it on to the picture shown above the list.

Yes but how to you have a full keynote slideshow running as your desktop background with changing slides, text appearing etc.

I'd imagine you could export it as a QuickTime movie and then use one of the third-party desktop programs that will show a video as your desktop. Probably slow things down a lot, though.
