I'm pretty sure there isn't a way to do it in iWeb. You can go into your MobileMe Web folder and edit the HTML of any of the pages -- so you could do it manually if you know a little bit of HTML. But you'd have to put the counter back every time the gallery was updated.

Followup question to George's: Is there a way that you can avoid having a counter count yourself when you visit a site you created? Can it "recognize" you and ignore your visit?
Yes and no. Counters can do this. One way is to recognize your IP address, if you have a static one, and not count that. Or, it could set a cookie in your browser that could cause you not to be counted.
While this is technically possible, I don't know if many counters use this idea. It would depend on the counter and how it is engineered.
