How Can I Change Default Address When Printing Envelopes From Address Book?

Address book defaults to All addresses when printing envelopes and labels. Is there a way to permanently change that default to home address? It is very rare that I would want to create an envelope for all of a contacts addresses for an entire group of my contacts.

Do you mean the Contacts app on your Mac? Are you using Mojave or some earlier version of macOS?

The Contacts app will print envelopes for the contacts you have selected. So select one or more contacts in the list, then choose File, Print. Only the ones selected will be included. If a selected contact doesn't have an address, it will not be included, naturally.

I am using Mojave and accessing the Contacts app. I know I can change the address to be used from All to Home. I'm trying to avoid having to do this manually each time I want to create an envelope or mailing label. I would like the default address option to be Home and not All.

Dick: Are you saying that you wish to print addresses, but some of your contacts have multiple addresses? Say, work and home? So then you can set that to All, or only Home, or only Work, etc. I understand now. I didn't get your initial question.
As far as I know, there is no way to set a default on that. You just have to remember to do it each time.

I believe it is the first one listed that it brings up.
