How Do I Quickly Store Received Emails Into Specific Mailbox or Mail Folders?

I save all my emails on my computer using Mac Mail. I have lots of mailboxes and I have a hard time finding the specific folder I want to store my different emails in that I receive in my inbox. Is there a way to search for a specific mailbox folder so I can easily pull over the newly received email into it?

How about using the good-old Shift+Command+? keyboard shortcut? Since all of your mailboxes would be in the Message, Move To menu, then you can use Shift+Command+?, type the name of the mailbox (or enough characters to narrow it down), then arrow down to the "Move To X" item and press Return.

How about it!!! I have used mail for years and never knew this. PERFECT. Thanks so much!! Maybe I should check out a tutorial for Mail.

I store emails that I want to keep in the particular subject folder in Documents by using the "Save As" from the File Menu. The email retains all the information from, date etc. along with any links that remain active.
