How Do I Transfer a Picture Library File From Time Machine To an Ext. Drive?

I would like to transfer an older Picture library from Time Machine to an ext. drive and use is as a different library along with the library I currently have on Photos. I am using Sierra OS.

    You would go to the current location of the photo library. Then Enter Time Machine. Then select the library in the proper time. Then Restore it, selecting the option to keep both.

    Once the restore is done, take the old library and move it to your external drive. You'll probably want to rename it too.
