Numbers/Pages between iPad and PC

Hello, fairly new to Mac/Apple…. Is there software that enables me to work in Numbers/Pages on my iPad AND PC without converting to Adobe or other format? I usually create on iPad and transfer to PC for archive and/or use. I plan to change from PC to MAC but not for a while yet. Any ideas? Thanks!!

That's a good question. I don't use a PC, as you can imagine, so I'm not sure. But I don't think there is any way. You can transfer to your PC as a Page or Numbers document, right? But then, of course, you can't open them because there is no version of iWork for PC. If you had a Mac you could convert them to office formats, but if you had a Mac then you would probably stop there.
One solution is to choose a different iPad office product. I haven't used them, but Documents to Go and QuickOffice come to mind. Maybe see if they will work for you as office applications until you get a Mac.
