Very cool. Did not know flashlight was available without app.
when I triple tap the home button as a way of being able to turn on the flashlite, I get apple pay screen!
Also, when I tap the flashlight icon forcefully, nothing happens about bright, medium, low… I have an iPhone 6+ and running 10.1.1
Robert: You need 3D Touch for this to work (aka Force Touch). That wasn’t added to the hardware until the 6s.
With an iPhone 7, I had the setting to get the Wallet/Apple Pay screen after a double click. So I turned that off, and then tried the triple tap of the home button but nothing happened. When I search for “magnifier” on iPhone 7, nothing comes up. Has the Magnifier been removed from iOS 10.1.1? There are third party magnifier apps, but I didn’t know there was supposed to be a built-in magnifier nor can I figure out how to access it.
Hello… same here… cannot access with a triple press on the home screen… everytime i do that… it takes me to the screen where i have to enter the actual passcode with the numbers… any specific setting needs to be changed?
Harold and Marin: The setting is Settings, General, Accessibility, Accessibility Shortcut. Make sure it is set to the first one, Magnifier.
Then, also check Settings, General, Accessibility, Magnifier. Make sure that is turned on.
