The new versions feature of Mac OS X Lion is very nice, but is there a way to examine the differences between any two versions?

Have you tried it yet?
It brings up the current version, and then a Time Machine-like stack of previous versions. You can flip through the stack and move the cursor around in both the old version and the current one.
So, sort of. Probably not what you mean, though, as you might be looking for something similar to revision marks, I'm guessing?
Gary,
Yes, I have tried it; very Time-machine-like.
In addition to what is provided, I was looking for functionality that would enable the user to see specific differences between two selected versions of a document.
