How Do I Insert a PDF To a Numbers Sheet?

Is there a way to add a usable PDF to a Numbers sheet?

I’m summing up my notes from a meeting and I’d like to add a PDF containing a lot of info to my Numbers sheet. I’d like to be able to open the PDF and read it later on and not just have it as an icon.

If this is a single-page PDF, you can just drag and drop it in. Don't add it to a cell in a table though. Add it to the sheet outside of any tables. Then it is a graphical element that you can resize, just like an image or shape.

But if it is a multi-page PDF, you won't want to do that as you can only see the first page. This function is meant for importing graphics like clipart to color up your spreadsheet design, not really to add information.

What I would do in that case is to place the Numbers spreadsheet and the PDF into a Finder folder together and name the folder something that makes sense. You don't need to bundle up everything into one file. You can have a folder and put related files into it. It can contain your Numbers document, a PDF, maybe some notes in a TextEdit or Pages file, maybe an audio recording, maybe some photos of whiteboards, etc.
