This can’t be that tricky. My “Open With” menu’s are filled with tons and tons of unused and unnecessary apps. Here’s a screenshot of a JPEG image’s menu.

I count 17 applications, 2 duplicates, and 5 web browsers listed. (I do not use any of the Dev apps at all.)
Is there any way to Edit the list, or even just repopulate it?

Sure. Just delete com.apple.LaunchServices from ~/Library/Preferences
