How Do I Print 2 Up or 4 Up?

I would like to print 4 copies on 1 page. This was known as 2 up or 4 up printing. I don’t see that option on my iMac any longer. Am I missing something or has the method to do this changed?

It is still there. When you go to print, first make sure you are seeing the full print dialog. If there is a Show Details button instead of a Hide Details button, click Show Details.

Then look for the pull-down menu. It sometimes is set to Media & Quality. When I go to print from Safari, it is set to Safari, but you can see Media & Quality when you click it. Use that to select "Layout."

Now you will see the Pages per Sheet setting. You can select 1, 2, 4, 6, 9 or 16. Then there are other options for ordering as well.

I did a tutorial on this earlier this year: Print Pages Per Sheet To Save Paper .
