hi gary i made a mail box also made a smart mailbox now i wish to delete the remaing mail i could not do it i selected all mail and pressed delete but the mails are still there not deleted!!

So, i bought a hard drive because the last drive i got was shot. so when i took out the hard drive put the holder on the new drive and put it back in to the macbook it would not go back in. What happen was the two rubber pads on both sides of the area where you put the drive in ... (1 Comment)

When I’m viewing my Mac’s Hard Drive content from a PC (a have a driver for HFS+) a see a lots of .DS_Store files. I know that these are Mac versions of the Thumbs.db files on Windows, but I still want to remove them.

I have several hundred pictures that are in my iPhoto library as placeholders in smart albums, but the actual photos were deleted. Is there a way to rebuild a library so that these empty pics don’t show up?

I love my MacBook Pro (purchased new in Oct 09, 2.53, Snow Leopard 10.6.2) and my iPhone.
They seamlessly work together. Add or change a contact in Address Book and the change magically appears on my iPhone. Same for iCal and Mail.

Gary, is it possible to highlight a word in a document and open the dictionary with a keyboard command, placing the word in the search field?
